About

About the clinic

The Freestone Clinic is two rooms above a bookbinder on Bridewell Street. Imogen opened it in 2019 after eleven years in NHS dermatology, and it has stayed deliberately small: two practitioners, one treatment room, and no target for how many people come through it.

We do a short list of things and we refer the rest. There is no surgery here, no general anesthetic, and no package deal waiting at the end of a consultation.

What we do not do

Every clinic has a list like this. Most of them do not publish it.

  • Surgery of any kind. We refer, and we will tell you what the surgeon charges.
  • Anything on anyone under 18.
  • Treatments sold as a course you pay for up front.
  • Same-day treatment at a first consultation.

Finding us

Bridewell Street runs off the market place. The entrance is the plain door beside the bookbinder; the clinic is on the first floor and there is a stair lift. Ring the bell rather than waiting outside — the door is kept locked while a treatment is running.

The market place car park is two minutes away and free after 18:00.
