Grouped by when they come up. If it is not here, ring the clinic and ask; nobody minds.
Before you book
Is the consultation paid, and does it come off the treatment?
It is £40, and it comes off the price of any treatment you have within three months. If you decide against treatment, it is the cost of an opinion and a written plan, and nothing further is charged.
Who actually does the treatment — a doctor or a nurse?
Both work here and every treatment page says which. Injectable work in the mid-face is done by the doctor; the skin treatments and courses are done by the prescribing nurse. You are told at the consultation and it is written on the plan you take home.
What is the minimum age?
Eighteen, for every treatment including consultations. We do not make exceptions and we do not treat under-18s with parental consent.
On the day
How much does it hurt?
Most people describe an injection as a sharp scratch that is over quickly. Numbing cream is used for filler, microneedling and laser. We cannot tell you it will not hurt, because pain is individual and nobody believes that sentence anyway — what we can do is stop the moment you ask.
How long will I be there?
Between twenty minutes and two hours. Treatments needing numbing cream add an hour before anything starts, and that hour is spent in the waiting room rather than in the chair.
After
When can I go back to work?
It depends on the treatment and every treatment page carries the figure. Wrinkle relaxing injections need no time at all; a peel takes two to four days; laser resurfacing takes five to seven. If the answer matters to you, tell us at the consultation and we will plan around the week you have.
