Consultation
What a consultation is
Nothing is injected, peeled or lasered at a first consultation. We look, we listen, we say what is possible and what is not, and you take the plan home.
The appointment, step by step
You tell us what bothers you.
20 minutes
In your own words. There is no form to fill in first and nothing is examined until you have finished talking. Most people have been thinking about this for a year before they ring.
We say what is possible and what is not.
10 minutes
Including the treatments we would not do on you and why. If a different practitioner or a different kind of clinic is the right answer, we say that too.
You take the plan home.
5 minutes
Written: what we would do, in what order, what each part costs, and how many days you would want to be out of sight afterward.
You decide.
At least 48 hours
Nobody is booked at the desk. When you are ready you ring, email, or you do not.
The 48-hour rule
We do not treat on the day of a first consultation. You will always have at least 48 hours to change your mind. If you decide against it, nothing happens and nobody rings you.
What it costs
A consultation is £40. If you go ahead with a treatment within three months, that amount comes off the price. If you do not, it is the cost of an honest opinion and a written plan.
Who we do not treat
Every clinic has a list like this. Most of them do not publish it.
- Anyone under 18, for any treatment.
- During pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
- Anyone taking a medicine that interacts with what is being planned. We ask, and sometimes the answer is no.
- Anyone who wants a result we do not think is achievable. We will say so at the consultation rather than after the first appointment.
